I grew up in Merida
City,
in the Yucatan Peninsula ofThis happens to be the sister city of
Panama
City,where I moved a year
ago. This sisterhood helps me to feel as if I am with a “close
neighbor”.Everything started years ago when I had to change the
tallest castles of Chichen Itza
and Uxmal
from where I was able to see the whole planet and where I was sure That God
could hear me better, for the Magna Autonomous University of Mexico UNAM
the oldest University in Norte America
founded in 1551. I enrolled to study the human body because of our family
tradition obtaining a diploma in Dental Surgery. This allowed me to continue
exploring 32 teeth in those with “wisdom”.
There is a saying that “when the student is ready, the
teacher is born.” I was very lucky to have two “Gran Maestras.” One was a
pioneer in Mexico
in Lymphatic therapy and natural medicine, and the other was a therapist for
patients in the terminal stage of disease. With their mentoring, I was able to
continue studying in Europe
to become a certified Lymphatic Therapist. When I returned to Yucatan, I became a
member of the staff in the Medical
Diagnostic
Center
where I gave therapy for pain and edemas, as well as skincare. Living in the United
States, I
have been able to study current techniques which are used world wide.
None of these accomplishments would have been possible without the support of
my loving family: my husband, my children, and my parents who are still active
in the medical field.
While living in Panama
City, I have also taken
advantage of opportunities to study English. The programs which are at Shaw Adult Center, Gulf Coast Community College,
and Heritage
Bible
Church
are available for those who wish to learn more about the English
language. This community has many opportunities for free education.
Now, my clients are receiving skin therapy in Frida
Natural Derma Balance, which uses the best therapeutic qualities of
Organic/ Biodynamic plant essences, extracts, and oils.
Biodynamic agriculture supports the intrinsic
qualities of each plant and helps eliminate the need for synthetic fertilizers.
In addition, natural predators like ladybugs take the place of chemical
pesticides. The natural rhythms of the moon cycles, seasons and cosmic patterns
dictate the farm’s schedule just as they did in the ancient Mayan
Civilization. These healthier plants have a greater healing potential for
the human body, and the farming techniques are more environmentally
friendly. I enjoy knowing that I am providing the best possible skin care
therapy for my clients.
